TROY, Ala. (WDNews) — According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon claimed the life of a Minter man.
ALEA said the crash happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. on July 23. Keith Orlando Posey, 50, of Minter, was fatally injured when the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Posey was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to ALEA, the crash occurred on Creampot Road near Ridge Road, about 4 miles south of Minter in Butler County.
“Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
