DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Fans attending this Friday’s Dothan United Soccer match will have the opportunity to help local families while earning a free ticket to a future game.
Dothan United announced it will host a non-perishable food drive benefiting The Salvation Army during Friday night’s match. Anyone who brings a non-perishable food item to donate will receive a free ticket to the team’s July 11 game.
The club is encouraging fans to support the community by donating canned goods and other shelf-stable food items to help stock The Salvation Army’s food pantry.
In addition to the food drive, fans can look forward to one of the biggest postgame celebrations of the season.
Following the match, Dothan United will present a large fireworks show sponsored by Eye Center South and produced by Ill Eagle Fireworks.
The club encourages fans to arrive early, support a good cause, enjoy the match, and stay afterward for the fireworks display.
