HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDNews) — Houston County sanitation customers are being advised that the Houston County Sanitation billing offices will be closed on Tuesday, June 16.
According to the Houston County Road and Bridge Department, the closure is necessary because the billing offices are located in the same building as the local voting center, which will be in use for Election Day activities.
Officials thanked customers for their patience and understanding during the temporary closure.
Regular operations are expected to resume following the election.
