DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Wiregrass Museum of Art will host its next Art After Hours event on Thursday, July 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., marking the opening of a new exhibition titled CONSTRUCTIONS: Contemporary Fiber.
The exhibit, which will remain on view through December 27, 2025, features the work of 21 artists from across the country. Each artist explores the medium of fiber in unexpected ways—ranging from traditional weaving techniques to digital processes—challenging viewers to reconsider the role of fiber in everyday life.
Museum officials say the exhibition highlights the intersection of technology, tradition, and storytelling through bold, contemporary approaches to fiber art.
