Southern Soul Takes Over Dothan Sept. 26

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Southern Soul music is set to take over the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds later this month as the 2026 Wiregrass Heritage Festival returns to Dothan.

According to American Entertainment Group, the festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, and will feature an all-star lineup of Southern Soul performers.

The lineup includes Marcellus the Singer, West Love, Cupid, Mr. Campbell, Tonio Armani, Young Guy, Anthony Q, Breeze MrDo2Much and DJ Trucker. More special guests are expected to be announced.

MC Lightfoot will serve as the festival host and keep the crowd entertained throughout the day.

Organizers say the event is expected to draw thousands of Southern Soul fans from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and other areas for a day of live music, dancing, food and celebration.

The festival will offer more than music. Guests can also enjoy Southern cuisine, retail vendors, arts and crafts and VIP experiences.

Tickets are on sale now through the Wiregrass Heritage Festival website.
