Man Arrested for Deadly Semmes Crash Attempted to Flee the Country

Semmes, Al. (WDNews) In a recent development surrounding a tragic  crash, court documents reveal that a suspect, 29-year-old Antonio Antonio Rodas, attempted to leave the country before his arrest. Rodas faces a murder charge following the collision on April 28, which claimed the life of 19-year-old Adam Luker.

According to the documents, Rodas was flagged as an “extreme flight risk” after purchasing a plane ticket to South America. Authorities apprehended him shortly after he left the airport, preventing his departure.

Additionally, investigations disclosed that Rodas was driving at a staggering 88 miles per hour at the time of the crash. Moreover, a blood alcohol test indicated his alcohol level was three times the legal limit.

Furthermore, it was revealed that Rodas is in the country illegally, prompting considerations for seeking legal recourse under Aniah’s Law.
