Enterprise High School Shines Nationally: Ranks 43rd in U.S. by U.S. News & World Report

Enterprise- (WDNews) Enterprise High School (EHS) has clinched an impressive position on the national stage, securing the 43rd spot in the prestigious U.S. rankings by the U.S. News & World Report. Out of 25,000 U.S. public high schools evaluated, only 296 made the cut, with EHS proudly representing the Wiregrass region.

The rankings, which consider factors like standardized test scores, college readiness, and graduation rates, highlight EHS’s academic excellence. Notably, EHS students have consistently surpassed state averages, boasting scores 15% higher in reading, 10% higher in math, and 8% higher in science on the ACT college entrance exam.

EHS’s success extends beyond test scores, with commendable marks in curriculum depth, breadth, and student participation in Advanced Placement courses. What’s even more impressive is the school’s ability to excel despite socioeconomic challenges, with 44% of students identified as economically disadvantaged.
