“Michael Mader”, Sneads Highschool Softball Coach Arrested

Sneads High School softball coach, Michael Mader, has been arrested in Jackson County, Florida, after allegations arose of a potentially inappropriate relationship with a juvenile. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office wasted no time in launching an investigation as soon as they became aware of the accusation.

Michael Mader is also affiliated with Mpact Sports in Marianna, FL. and was briefly assigned to the Atlanta Braves in 2019 along with playing in baseball minors.


As a result of their investigation, Mader has been arrested and is facing charges of three counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a victim over 12 but under 16 years old, as well as one count of offenses against students by an authority figure. All charges are classified as second-degree felonies.

To safeguard the privacy of the alleged victim, their name is being withheld at this time. The sheriff’s office is refraining from releasing any further information to respect the victim’s privacy. The investigation is still ongoing.
