An increase in oil prices is said to be the cause of fuel prices going up this week. AAA has the Alabama statewide average 3 cents more than a week ago at $3.10 per gallon today. That’s the third lowest price for gas in the U.S. behind only Tennessee and Mississippi. Dothan’s average went up by 4 cents to $3.11 per gallon.
