The National Peanut Festival has announced this year’s dates and theme. Organizers are calling the 2023 event “Peanuts Galore and So Much More.” It will honor farmers of The Wiregrass and the crops that fertilize the local economy. This year’s fair runs from November 3rd thru November 12th. This year’s festival has also announced new security features. This year there will be bag checks and metal detectors. Several new fun features have been added as well including an opening night parade at the fairgrounds, new carnival rides and attractions. The concert lineup will be announced September 1st.
