Alabama lawmakers will decide next year on a proposed lodging tax in Henry County. County leaders say there are about 15 short term rental properties that are in outside of the cities and county commissioners want to enact a $4 tax on them. The cities of Abbeville and Headland already have a similar tax that brought in a combined $13,000 last year.
