Alabama gas prices are still ticking down. Triple-a has the statewide average at 3-09 per gallon, down 7 cents from a week ago and a dollar less than a year ago. Dothan’s average dropped 8 cents this week to 3-14 per gallon. Analysts credit cheaper crude oil prices for the decline at the pump but note prices could rise again with the onset of the summer driving season.
