According to a new WalletHub ranking, Alabama places near the bottom of the list for “Best States to be a Police Officer in.” The financial website looked at 30 factors including local crime rates and number of officers per capita and based on that Alabama ranked 46th. Arkansas was considered the worst state to be a cop in, while California was ranked the best.
