Wiregrass Electric Cooperative is donating a 300-foot communications tower to Geneva County. W-E-C officials say they have a new radio system and the 16-year-old tower will be taken down in sections and donated to the county. The County will use portions of the tower to improve radio dead spots that first responders face in rural areas.
