A Blakely woman is behind bar following her arrest on animal cruelty charges. Following a report of possible animal abuse at a home on South Church Street, Blakely PD found several dogs living in unsanitary conditions with not enough food or water. Tammy Paterson was arrested on 8 counts of cruelty to animals. Humane society is helping treat and relocate the animals.
