More people are going to community college. New numbers from Alabama Community College System show at least a 5 percent increase in enrollment each year since 2020. Locally, Enterprise Community College says they’ve seen a 15 percent increase since the Spring 2022 semester. Community colleges support one out of every 27 jobs in Alabama.
