The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in Houston County during this weekend’s storms. Following a ground survey, meteorologists say a small EF-0 tornado popped up in east Houston County during Saturday’s storms with peak winds of 80 mph. There was some damage caused by the storm but no reports of injuries.
