DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The Levitt AMP Dothan Music Series officially kicks off Thursday, Sept. 3, with a free night of live music at Porter Park Events Plaza.
According to Porter Park, opening night will feature Billy Allen + The Pollies, along with Ghost River Revival and JWalkOnTheTrack.
Food vendors will open at 5 p.m., with music beginning at 5:30 p.m. Greek Street and P.S. Taco Company will have food available during the event.
Admission is free, and the event is family-friendly. Organizers are encouraging those attending to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
“Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us for a full evening of free live music, great food, and community under the stars in downtown Dothan,” Porter Park said.
The concert will be held at Porter Park Events Plaza, 125 N. Saint Andrews St. in downtown Dothan. The event is scheduled to run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
