DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Wiregrass families planning a trip to the 2026 National Peanut Festival can save a few dollars by buying admission and ride passes early.
The National Peanut Festival’s flash sale begins Aug. 31, offering discounted Mega Passes and advance fairground admission ahead of the festival’s Nov. 6-15 run in Dothan.
From Aug. 31 through Sept. 12, Mega Passes will cost $33. The passes include unlimited rides every day of the festival. Beginning Sept. 13, the price increases to $38.
Advance one-day admission to the fairgrounds will cost $8 during the Aug. 31-Sept. 12 sale period. The price increases to $9 beginning Sept. 13.
The passes will be available online or at Eagle Eye Outfitters. Mega Passes and advance admission tickets are good for any one day of the 2026 festival, and there are no refunds.
More Than the Main Stage
While the festival’s major concert lineup has already been announced, visitors will also find live entertainment throughout the fairgrounds.
Food Court Stage entertainment includes Darrell Qualls Band on Nov. 6, Big and Loud on Nov. 7, Willie Ziavino and the COT Band and Baylee Bennett Knighton on Nov. 8, Mae Estes on Nov. 9 and Dennis Lee on Nov. 11.
Will Mosley will perform Nov. 13. Latino Dancers & Hispanic Orchestra and Hannah McFarland are scheduled for Nov. 14.
Festival Traditions Start Early
Several National Peanut Festival traditions will take place before opening day.
The Little Miss NPF Pageant is scheduled for Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. at the Dothan Civic Center. The Miss NPF Preliminary Pageant will be held Oct. 16 at 6 p.m., followed by the Miss NPF Finals on Oct. 17 at 4 p.m.
The Cubmobile Derby is scheduled for Oct. 24 at 9 a.m. at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds, followed by the Peanut Recipe Contest on Oct. 29.
The 2026 National Peanut Festival runs Nov. 6-15 in Dothan with the theme “Ease on Down the Row.”
