EUFAULA, Ala. (WDNews) — Young professionals in Eufaula will have a new opportunity to connect, share ideas and help shape a new community organization.
According to the Eufaula Barbour County Chamber of Commerce, the first Eufaula Young Professionals community meeting will be held Thursday, Aug. 20, at 6 p.m.
Organizers said the meeting is designed to bring together young professionals at different stages of their careers, including those who are established in their fields, building businesses or just beginning their professional journeys.
“Eufaula is full of talented young professionals with ideas, energy, and a desire to make a difference,” organizers said. “This first meeting is an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and begin building a strong foundation for a group that supports both its members and the Eufaula community.”
Those attending will have an opportunity to discuss what the new group could become and ways members can work together to create opportunities in Eufaula.
“Whether you are established in your career, building a business, or just beginning your professional journey, your perspective matters,” organizers said.
The group’s motto is “Connect. Contribute. Grow.”
According to its mission statement, Eufaula Young Professionals aims “to bring emerging leaders together to build relationships, exchange ideas, encourage professional growth, and create a lasting positive impact throughout the Eufaula community.”
Organizers are encouraging those interested to attend the first meeting ready to meet new people, contribute ideas and help shape the future of Eufaula Young Professionals.
