ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — According to the City of Enterprise, the Enterprise Recreation & Aquatics Center will transition to its back-to-school pool schedule beginning Thursday, Aug. 6, as many seasonal lifeguards return to school.
The pool will continue operating under its regular summer schedule through Wednesday, Aug. 5. Beginning Aug. 6, the pool will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
According to the city, the back-to-school schedule will remain in effect through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7. On Labor Day, the pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., marking the final day of the 2026 pool season. Officials said the adjusted schedule allows the Enterprise Recreation & Aquatics Center to continue offering weekend swimming opportunities through the holiday.
Pool party room reservations are still available for the remaining in-season weekend dates. Those interested in reserving the party room with pool access may contact Aquatics Supervisor Jolee Fernandez for availability and additional information.
The city also noted the party room is available for off-season rentals at a separate rate for individuals and groups interested in reserving the space without pool access.
