HEADLAND, Ala.— The Headland 15U All-Stars are World Series champions.
The Headland team captured the 2026 Diamond Youth Softball 15U World Series title with a commanding 10-2 victory over the Minden, Louisiana, All-Stars in the championship game on Sunday in Laurel, Mississippi.
The tournament was held July 15-19 and featured some of the top 15U teams in Diamond Youth Softball.
The championship caps off an outstanding postseason for the Headland squad. Just a month ago, the team earned its berth to the World Series after an undefeated run through the Diamond Youth Softball State Tournament in Ozark.
Headland continued its winning ways in Laurel, finishing the tournament on top and bringing the 2026 15U World Series championship back to Alabama, back to Headland.
