ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) — Vendor applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Whoville Celebration, giving businesses, artisans and food vendors the opportunity to take part in one of Enterprise’s most anticipated holiday traditions.
The annual event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, in historic downtown Enterprise. A rain date has been set for Saturday, Dec. 12.
The celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature festive vendors, family-friendly activities and holiday entertainment. Returning attractions include free face painting, train rides, inflatables, the Who Look-A-Like Contest and Max’s Pet Costume Contest.
“While we’re in the middle of summer, planning for Whoville begins months before the Christmas season arrives,” said Lily McDaniel, executive director of Main Street Enterprise. “Opening vendor applications in July gives us the opportunity to build another memorable event for our community. We encourage artisans, makers, retailers and specialty food vendors to apply and help us create a festive downtown experience that families look forward to every year.”
Applications opened July 15 and must be submitted electronically through the City’s RecDesk portal. There is no fee to apply, but vendors selected to participate will pay booth fees ranging from $100 to $200, depending on location. All vendors must hold an active Enterprise business license.
Food vendors will once again be located in a designated food court at Sessions Field. To help maintain a safe environment for visitors, generators will not be permitted on Main Street.
