OZARK, Ala. (WDNews) — Ozark City Schools and Dale County Schools have announced a new partnership aimed at expanding career and technical education opportunities for students through the Bridge Academy and the Carroll High School Career Center.
According to school officials, the partnership will allow Ozark students to participate in dual enrollment programs in Diesel Mechanics and Welding at Bridge Academy. Dale County students will have the opportunity to enroll in Masonry and Drafting courses at the Carroll High School Career Center.
“The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to providing students with additional pathways to gain hands-on experience and develop career-ready skills”, said in a statement on social media.
Additional details regarding enrollment, schedules and eligibility requirements are expected to be released once plans are finalized.
In the meantime, Carroll High School students interested in the Diesel Mechanics or Welding dual enrollment programs are encouraged to contact Mrs. Shanna Doran to be added to the interest list.
