ENTERPRISE, Ala.— Three people were injured during a shooting and assault at a residence in Enterprise late Friday night, according to the Enterprise Police Department.
Police said officers responded at approximately 9:40 p.m. June 13 to the 1800 block of County Road 721 following a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they located two victims at the scene. One victim had sustained injuries during an assault, while a second victim had suffered a gunshot wound. Officers later learned a third victim had also been shot and transported themselves to a hospital for treatment.
According to Enterprise police, officers had responded to the same residence earlier due to noise complaints related to a house party.
Preliminary information indicates several fights broke out among individuals at the residence, resulting in shots being fired.
The investigation remains active, and no additional information has been released.
