DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — According to initial reports, a neighbor called 911 at approximately 6:20 p.m. after noticing smoke coming from a residence on Dempsey Court, located off Denton Road on the north side of Dothan.
When Dothan firefighters arrived, heavy smoke was visible coming from the structure. At approximately 6:35 p.m., additional assistance was requested to respond to the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries have been reported, and no additional information has been released.
Dothan Police Officers do have the roads blocked at this time for safety and hoses in the roadway.
