Dothan, Ala. — A pregnant woman was assaulted late Friday morning in the parking lot of the Southside Walmart, according to initial reports.
The incident happened around 11 a.m., though details about what led up to the assault remain limited.
Dothan Police located the suspect nearby in the connected parking lots near Tidal Wave Auto Spa. During the encounter, the suspect was tased and taken into custody.
Rescue crews responded to the scene and were seen treating the victim. The extent of her injuries are unknown.
