DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — The City of Dothan has released the schedule for a series of neighborhood meetings as work begins on the city’s 2026 Annual Action Plan.
The meetings are part of the Community Development Block Grant process and are open to neighborhood residents, interested citizens, and representatives of social service agencies. Feedback gathered will help guide how federal funds are used to address local needs.
All meetings are scheduled as follows:
Monday, Feb. 23
6 to 7 p.m.
Andrew Belle Community Center
1270 Lake Street, DOTHAN
Tuesday, Feb. 24
6 to 7 p.m.
Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center
300 Garland Street, DOTHAN
Wednesday, Feb. 25
6 to 7 p.m.
Wiregrass Recreation Center
620 Sixth Avenue, DOTHAN
Thursday, Feb. 26
Noon to 1 p.m.
Michael C. Patton Event Center
Dothan Housing Authority
1001 Montana Street, DOTHAN
City officials said the meetings will also serve as official public hearings for the city’s CDBG citizen participation process.
Residents unable to attend may submit written comments to Tera Wells, CDBG program administrator with the City of Dothan Department of Planning and Development.
