Montgomery, Ala. (WDNews) – A Dothan man is dead and another person injured following a shooting in Montgomery early Wednesday morning.
Montgomery Police have identified the victim as 33-year-old Eric Major. Officers and medics were called to the 2300 block of E. Sixth Street near Carter Hill Road around 5:45 a.m. where they found Major, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another individual, who has not been named, was also found with a gunshot wound and taken to a local hospital. That person’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
At this time, investigators have not released a motive or named a suspect. A homicide investigation is ongoing.
