Wiregrass – (WDNew) Starting June 25, McDonald’s will offer a limited-time $5 meal deal in the U.S. to address slowing sales and rising customer frustration over high prices.

The deal, available for one month, includes a four-piece McNugget, small fries, a small drink, and a choice between a McDouble burger or a McChicken sandwich. However, in areas with higher costs, such as California and Hawaii, the price might be slightly higher.

Although McDonald’s has not officially confirmed the deal, a person familiar with the promotion shared these details on condition of anonymity. This move aligns with the company’s recent efforts to attract more customers by offering better deals amid increased competition and economic challenges.

Stay tuned for more updates as McDonald’s rolls out this new promotion nationwide.
