Enterprise, Ala. – (WDNews) The Enterprise Fire Department has launched its yearly hydrant maintenance initiative, ensuring the safety and accessibility of vital infrastructure across the city.

With over 1500 hydrants slated for inspection, firefighters are diligently conducting checks to confirm their optimal functionality for emergency responders.

“We don’t expect any disruptions to citizens or their water services during this process,” assured Enterprise Fire Chief Christopher Davis. “This annual maintenance is integral to upholding the safety of our community.”

Chief Davis urged residents to remain vigilant and provide space for firefighters as they work. “Whether painting hydrants for visibility or clearing vegetation, your cooperation ensures our team’s safety,” he emphasized.
