Chick-fil-A Changes Antibiotics Policy in their Chicken

Wiregrass – Chick-fil-A, known for its “No Antibiotics Ever” chicken policy since 2014, is altering its stance. Starting this spring, the fast-food chain will permit the use of chickens treated with antibiotics, albeit those not crucial to human medicine. This shift, to a “No Antibiotics Important To Human Medicine” standard, comes amidst supply chain challenges.

The company vows to maintain its commitment to quality, sourcing chickens from farms adhering to strict Animal Wellbeing Standards. Other industry players, like Tyson, have also adjusted their antibiotic policies.
