The United States is looking rather grim with coming in at 23 on the Happiness Report that was released Wednesday.  The report has been continuing annually for 12 years, this is the first year of those 12 the US has not been in at least the top 20.

The report is done by the help from Gallup, the Oxford Wellbeing Research Centre, and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

It is reported that our youth are partly the reason for moving up on the list, For people under 30, the ranking was 62nd place. Although, for those over 60, the U.S. came in 10th. Amazing enough, it’s not as bad as it seems considering they evaluated 143 countries. If your curious as to who finished first on the list it was Finland. As far as last goes, that unlucky evaluation will go to Afghanistan.
